Diaphragm Walls Including Deep Foundation Barrettes.

Bachy Soletanche has been present in Australia since the 1970’s specialising in the design and construction of geotechnical foundations, including most of the major diaphragm walls constructed in Australia to date, which include projects in Sydney, such as the Barangaroo phase 1A and current 1B projects, recent basements for the Crown Group in Green Square and Parramatta, as well as more locally in Surfers Paradise for the Hilton Hotel project and the Brisbane Airport Link.

Soletanche Bachy Intenational is the world’s foremost underground engineering and construction company operating in more than 80 countries around the world. They have the ability to manage complex operations according to their size and technical characteristics and have completed such landmark projects as the Testimonio building in Monaco, a top down construction within the confines of the city, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and Orchard Turn building in Singapore which included grouting to the barrette toes to increase capacity.

We offer significant expertise in the design and installation of efficient deep foundations for tall towers.

Most recently we have introduced the Cit’Easy. A special Hydrofraise machine, the Hydrofraise XS2, was developed for urban diaphragm walls, which as a rule have moderate thicknesses and depths. Requiring less space and consuming less energy than the conventional Hydrofraise, the XS2 nevertheless offers equivalent or superior drilling efficiency. A new-generation mud plant is used in conjunction with this machine. It has three shipping container-sized modules that can be stacked and highly simplified connections between the elements. The plant has a small footprint and takes very little time to set up.

Bachy Soletanche has a range of geotechnical techniques to suit your needs.
