Project Description

Bachy Soletanche Australia is providing a complete design and construction retaining wall & foundation solution for a 55-storey building in the heart of Parramatta City
The package includes a shoring wall and plunge columns to underpin a heritage rated church in the middle of the construction site drilled through a pre-stressed concrete slab. Large diameter bored piles for founding the tower core into the sandstone bedrock were also be constructed.

The next phase of construction will see deep excavation works which will be supported by 4 levels of anchoring and propping designed and built by BSA.

Our teams did tremendous work with support of our client MNB. Together we continue to progress with safety and quality at the front of our operation.

Solutions

Design and Construction of secant pile retaining wall with temporary anchors and propping. Installation of large diameter piles with concrete and filling material, along with the precise installation of HEB steel plunge columns using a special centraliser frame. Installation of large diameter tower foundation piles in the line of the shoring wall to depths of 36m with extremely heavy reinforcing cages.
