Bored Piles
Project Description
Bachy Soletanche Australia was proud to be appointed the piling contractor for the new Sydney Football Stadium. We had four piling rigs and one anchoring machine working simultaneously to install the foundations for Sydney’s next world-class sporting and entertainment venue.
BSA provided a complete Design and Construct solution incorporating approximately 1500 CFA piles drilled through sand to found in bedrock to maximum depths of 33m. Pile integrity and dynamic load testing was conducted to successfully verify our design and construction methods.
A team effort with clients John Holland and the NSW Government ensured the safe and timely delivery of the foundations on multiple work fronts.
