Project Description
Bachy Soletanche Australia has been appointed the role of piling contractor as part of a $955 million contract with Sydney Metro to improve the busiest transport hub in Australia. Bachy Soletanche Australia (BSA) will be installing 279 Bored Piles and 42 Plunge Columns at Sydney Metro, Australia’s busiest transport hub.

Temporary works design, manufacture and fabrication of plunge column frame.
Key requirements for the project:

Positional tolerance: 20mm

Rotational: 2deg >3.5m below platform level

Plunge column lengths up to 27.0m
