Bachy Soletanche Australia (BSA) will be installing 279 Bored Piles and 42 Plunge Columns at Sydney Metro, Australia’s busiest transport hub.

Bachy Soletanche Australia (BSA) will be installing 279 Bored Piles and 42 Plunge Columns at Sydney Metro, Australia’s busiest transport hub.
Solutions

Temporary works design, manufacture and fabrication of plunge column frame.

 

Key requirements for the project:

  • Verticality: 1 in 250

  • Positional tolerance: 20mm

  • Rotational: 2deg >3.5m below platform level

  • Plunge column lengths up to 27.0m

  • Incorporation of plunge column pile cages

  • Tight installation tolerances for cages and columns

  • Working adjacent to a live railway station
